- The rubber protective hose was replaced by a multi-part safety cover
- A slimmer handle ensures effective handling and better balance
- The cutting class for round material according to Euronorm has improved from "F" to "G
- At 14.9 kg, the weight (without battery) is below the important 15 kg limit
- The chain set KSV 8/50 is replaced by a new chain set KSV 8/258 In the interest of increased cutting performance, the diameter of the pulling hole in the cutter arm had to be reduced from 16 mm (for KSV 8/50) to 12 mm (for KSV 8/258).
